OUR Initiatives
At the heart of The Bobby Portis Foundation is a deep commitment to uplifting families and strengthening communities through action. Our initiatives are designed to meet real needs and create lasting impact — from Tina’s House, which helps single mothers move from survival to stability, to the Bobby Portis Basketball Camp, where youth learn teamwork, discipline, and leadership both on and off the court. Through Community Givebacks like food distributions, school supply drives, and holiday programs, we continue to pour hope, resources, and opportunity into the places we call home in Arkansas and Wisconsin.

Empowering single mothers to move from survival to stability through housing support and mentorship. Creating pathways to independence and hope for families ready to rebuild their lives.
Bobby Portis Basketball Camp
Teaching teamwork, discipline, and leadership through the game of basketball. Helping youth grow in confidence and character on and off the court.

The Bobby Portis Foundation was born from a simple truth Bobby learned growing up in a single-mother household: when one person lifts you up, it can change everything. Inspired by his mother, Tina Edwards, Bobby built this foundation to give that same support to other families facing the same struggles.
From his roots in Little Rock, Arkansas to his success on the NBA stage, Bobby never forgot the people and places that shaped him. Today, the Foundation stands as his way of giving back—creating opportunities for single mothers, youth, and families to rise, thrive, and build brighter futures.
